Join Lindsey at AEC for Foundational Horsemanship Sessions.
Who are these sessions for?
Everyone! These sessions are open to all and tailored to support you at any stage of your horsemanship journey. During our 3-hour session, I will offer personalized guidance to each participant. I will leave time for you to practice newly learned exercises or skills independently with your horse. In the last hour, we'll come together as a group to tackle any challenges, solve problems, and address questions.
Upon registering, I will send you a registration form asking what you would like to work on and what goals you would like to achieve during our session.

Join Lindsey at AEC every other Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm for Young Horse Development Horsemanship Sessions.

These sessions are designed to build your young horse's confidence, spatial awareness, and softness through essential groundwork exercises such as leading, yielding hindquarters and forequarters, and backing up.
You'll learn about positive mindsets, intentions, timing, and feel, with opportunities for both one-on-one and group sessions, including work in hand, in a round pen, and with obstacles.
All of these sessions are intended to provide you and your horse with fundamental skills for real life situations in a safe learning environment. These skills can include confidently trailer loading, standing to be groomed, saddled, and learning how to tie and give to pressure.

Land Acknowledgment
We acknowledge that what we call Alberta and the location in which we built AEC is the traditional and ancestral territory of many peoples, presently subject to Treaties 6, 7, and 8. Namely: the Blackfoot Confederacy – Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika – the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Stoney Nakoda, and the Tsuu T’ina Nation and the Métis People of Alberta. This includes the Métis Settlements and the Six Regions of the Métis Nation of Alberta within the historical Northwest Metis Homeland. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit who have lived in and cared for these lands for generations. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us. We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting.
